Hexit weld-on fastener remover
Quickly and easily remove broken bolts and fasteners with our one of a kind weld-on fastener remover.

The Hexit is thoughtfully designed for ease of use. The welding cup is designed to control sheilding gas and contain splatter, while also handling extreme torque for removing stuck bolts.

The HEXIT handle allows you to hold the HEXIT in place during welding, then easily snaps off to allow your wrench/socket to attach for easy removal of stuck fasteners.

HEXIT deep hex cup helps reach recessed broken fasteners by aligning welding nozzle and wire in the self-centering hole.
TESTIMONIALS
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with the Hexit broken bolt removal tool and offer my full endorsement of the product.
We have used the Hexit tool dozens of times in real‑world repair situations, primarily for removing broken exhaust bolts. The design makes it extremely easy to align on a broken bolt, especially with the self‑centering extension. One of the biggest advantages is that you can align the tool even when you can’t see the bolt, which is a huge benefit when working in tight or restricted spaces.
When welding, I simply turn the heat up slightly higher than normal to ensure good penetration. Welding to the Hexit tool is straightforward—you can easily center the wire by feel. A quick pull of the trigger for a second fills the void, and in most cases the bolt is attached immediately. If it does break away, the second attempt usually gets it.
Overall, the tool is very easy to use and offers a far lower chance of damage compared to trying to drill out a broken bolt. It has saved us a significant amount of time and frustration, especially on exhaust work where broken fasteners are common.
The Hexit broken bolt removal tool has earned a permanent place in our shop, and I would confidently recommend it to any technician dealing with broken bolts.
The HEXIT removal tool works very well for me. I have removed 20+ broken bolts with this tool.
To get the best attachment to the broken bolt hold the HEXIT firmly directly over the broken bolt. Set your welder for metal thickness at least equal to ½ the diameter of the bolt. For 8mm broken bolts I will set the welder for 3/16” plate. Concentrate the weld(heat) directly through the hole and directly on to the bolt. As the weld builds up it will attach to the HEXIT for a good solid connection. As the heat is directed onto the bolt it will help with removal. It is easier to weld through the HEXIT than a nut that I used prior to the HEXIT.
